Burial Authority Adviser

An interesting new part-time position has become available for a NAMM Burial Authority Adviser. This will be initially for a trial period of six months and for 2 / 3 days per week.

The post is to ensure that the association has:

• Representation with burial authorities
• Contact with the Media, the Church and other organisations
• Ensure the promotion of RQMF (Register of Qualified Memorial Fixers) to burial authorities
• Respond to enquiries and complaints regarding burial authorities and ensure action is taken
• Act as Chief Liaison Officer for the association with burial authorities

Personal qualities for this position include knowledge of Burial Authority memorial issues along with negotiation and arbitration skills.

Some of the work may be carried out remotely from Head Office and a certain amount of travelling around the country will be expected.

Salary will be £25k pro rata depending on experience. (Some training may be available).
